Man City Legend Pablo Zabaleta and the Premier League Trophy go to Cityzens Giving Young Leaders in Mexico City to have fun launch of expanded Xylem Water Heroes Academy

Mexico City, Mexico, September 22, 2022 – Manchester City’s international charity initiative, Cityzens Giving, and Official Water Technology Partner, Xylem, are delighted to announce the expansion of Xylem Water Heroes Academy, a global initiative in ten cities using the facility of soccer to sort out local water challenges.
Since its launch in 2021, Xylem Water Heroes Academy has engaged over 75 young leaders and delivered very important water training to more than 6,000 younger individuals in 5 cities: São Paulo, Mumbai, Cape Town, New York City and Shanghai. The expanded community, which now also includes youth-led tasks in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Cape Coast, Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne, aims to positively impression 20,000 more young people over the subsequent four years.

We obtained coaching from Man City coaches and learnt several games that teach children about water conservation through soccer. We are really joyful and grateful that Man City and Pablo Zabaleta visited our community.”
