The Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a consortium and collaboration facility that brings together leaders and thinkers from across the water sector, coverage world and past, has formally opened in Washington, DC, USA.

Water sector leaders, including academia, know-how suppliers, commerce associations and NGOs, are partnering within the new consortium to accelerate options to the world’s crucial water and sustainability challenges.
Located on the banks of the Anacostia River, the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions will serve as a worldwide collaboration hub to advance breakthrough water options and improvements.
The Reservoir Center is designed to strengthen collaboration among the many numerous set of stakeholders, from DC and past, who work together in course of fixing international water challenges. The Center’s 33 partners – together with Reservoir sponsor Xylem – will bring together their assets, data and partnerships to drive progress.
Through innovation programs, schooling and mentoring, and neighborhood outreach, the Reservoir Center goals to create a vibrant hub for ideas and motion on challenges like water scarcity, resilience and water affordability.
“Establishing the Reservoir Center is a commitment to strengthening collaboration throughout the water sector, and to strengthening water’s voice beyond it,” said Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “The Center shall be a hub for these excited about serving to remedy the world’s water challenges to return collectively, deepen relationships, break down obstacles and fast-track options. Xylem announced earlier this yr that its new headquarters might be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions.
