Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing area and now employs one hundred twenty individuals. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing methods and other new projects awarded to the company.
“We are proud of our success and growth to turn out to be a provider of precision bearings to a few of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
