Atlas Copco to acquire Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering systems. The firm employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting customers and developing main industrial flow technology for efficient, exact and secure dealing with of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re building our presence and technology providing inside positive displacement pumps.”
