Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering systems. The firm employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting customers and developing main industrial flow technology for efficient, exact and secure dealing with of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re building our presence and technology providing inside positive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and sophisticated course of pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
