Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of manufacturing area and now employs one hundred twenty people. The manufacturing area was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing techniques and different new projects awarded to the corporate.
“We are proud of our success and growth to turn out to be a supplier of precision bearings to a few of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
To celebrate the 50-year milestone, the company is planning an occasion at the facility for employees and extending its outreach to the community to educate them on the profession alternatives available on the website. “We are in search of people throughout the Antigo neighborhood who want to be a half of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” mentioned Greenlund.
